Why do I draw & paint? Because it is second nature to me, like breathing. In those of us who are deeply creative, that need to define life around us by our own unique parameters, to beautify our environment in even the smallest of ways, to produce from within ourselves a thing that lives & breathes and gives joy to others, is essential to our plenitude, our sense of wholeness. I want to express, to myself and others, that the world we experience in our quotidian lives is only one reality: dreams, fantasies, imagination, desires, play a large part in our happiness—the way we WANT the world to be is unique to who we are.

The innocence of children, the magic of imagination, the miracle of nature, the lifeblood that is faith, all of this, colored by our own palette of tints both brilliant and dark…this is what I want to give to myself nd others. It is a wondrous path, and it is that talent for Art and Creation—as well as the experience of motherhood--that gives my life Meaning. I cannot imagine a life without art, or the ability to express myself creatively. I want to bring joy & spiritual awareness, humor & whimsy, romance & beauty into the lives of those who come in contact with my art, to give them something unique and rich, that they can treasure. I thank God for that Gift, and lift a grateful prayer to the Universe for each day and each work that I create.
